The Artistic Symbols

A rose in bud, sits precariously on the ledge over a chasm, yet the rose lifts its head towards the planets of the universe. A bee, the rose’s friend and nature’s tool of fertilising and procreation of plant life on earth seems to be beckoning the rose to step out and explore its possibilities. The promise of the adventure in growth and learning is the lighted path that weaves effortlessly between the planets, guiding the way towards the promise  of the rose’s ultimate goal in the fulfilment of its destiny: to be strong open and beautiful.

The Fool in a Reading

The fool symbolises the beginnings of a new karmic journey, being a new soul lesson along the path of reaching Nirvana. (Nirvana is a place of perfect peace and happiness, like heaven. In Hinduism and Buddhism, Nirvana is the highest state that someone can attain, a state of enlightenment) It is taught that we live many lifetimes, and within those lifetimes are many karmic teachings towards mastery or the place of Heaven where we don’t need to re-incarnate again.

The fool starts out in naivety and trust for sometimes if we knew of the challenges we would face, we may never start out. This is the message to put our trust in our higher purpose and know that we will get the help and support we need to reach our spiritual and earthly maturity in strength, knowledge and wisdom. It is an exciting card to see: for we know that a new adventure, project or phase of life is beginning in hope and trust.

The Challenges of the Fool

Being too trusting and taking the leap without some sort of destination in mind. "Jumping from the fying pan into the fire,": perhaps leaving or setting out on the impulse influenced by a strong negative emotion : fear.
