As a writer, poet, teacher and psychic practitioner of 40 years she has brought together the ideas of many in the "Psychic Philosopher."

Jo’s psychic journey began at the age of 6 and has spanned 60 years of learning about the metaphysical world.
She became a psychic tarot reader and teacher over 35 years ago.
Having studied and explored the many disciplines of Shamanism, Wicca, Earth Magic and differing religions has inspired her to create meditations, metaphysical experience and courses into the methods of modern spirituality.
She has embraced formal study within Academia in the subjects of philosophy, psychology, religious doctrines, quantum physics, the workings of the body and mind, alternative healing and remedies and the new scientific understanding of psychic phenomenon.
She also embraced the formal study of film media and marketing while gaining her adult-training certificates. Writing and Illustrating children's’ stories and poems is a joy and Jo loves the creative experience of art in different mediums. She created the “Portal to the Stars Major Arcana Tarot” deck while experimenting with spray paint art. The power of sharing knowledge inspired her to found Serene Spirit in 2007.
